Mrs. Patricia Juanita Elrod Kite, age 61, died Wednesday, 06/20/2012, at her residence.

Funeral service will be Saturday, 06/23/2012, at Murphy Funeral Home; 11:00 A.M Burial to follow in Campground Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday morning for one hour prior to funeral service at 11:00 A.M.

Mrs. Kite is survived by her husband, Davis Edward Kite of Martin; son, Claude O'Neal Kite of Florida; daughter, Melissa Timberly of Florida; step-daughter, Melissa Allen May of Florida; brothers, Curtis Elrod of Cullman, Alabama, and Ronald Elrod of Birmingham, Alabama; brother-in-law, Reigh King of Blaisville, Georgia; sister-in-laws, Betty Orme of Highland City, Florida and Vivian King of Blaisville, Georgia; two grandchildren.

Mrs. Kite was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Elrod and Pauline Cornelius Elrod.

Mrs. Kite was a retired bookkeeper.
