Agnes Carter

Mrs. Agnes Mae Morris Carter, age 84, died Saturday, May 30, 2020, at her residence in Martin.

Graveside service will be Tuesday, June 2, 2020, 12:00 Noon in East Side Cemetery with Rev. Lee Morris and Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Family and friends may assemble in the cemetery at 11:45.

Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Carter; parents, Floyd Morris, Sr. and Opal Moon Morris; three brothers,  Herbert Morris, Floyd Morris, Jr. and J.D Morris; sister, Ruth Lackey.

Mrs. Carter was retired having worked at P&S Drug Store; Van's Pharmacy and Medicare Rentals.  She attended Martin High School and was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her children, Ricky (Debbie) Carter of Dresden and Deniece (Horry) Dungan of Trenton, TN; brother, Leon (Gerry) Morris of Oak Ridge; four grandchildren, Jada (Chad) Scruggs of Nashville, Rebekah (Benji) Baker of Murfreesboro; Anthony (Dena) Carter of Dresden and Brandi (Brad) Heins of Rockwood, IL; 12 great-grandchildren.
