Almeta Exum Cole

Mrs. Almeta Exum Cole, age 97, died Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at The Arbors in Union City.

Funeral service will be Sunday, November 17, 2019, 3:00 P.M. at the Gardner Church of Christ with Bro. Sidney White officiating.  Burial will follow in Gardner Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. until service time at 3:00 P.M. at the church.

Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husbands, W. Reed Exum and Newbern Cole; her son, W. Reed Exum, Jr.; her parents, Bob Miles and Gertie Brooks Miles; sister, Earlene Frazier, brothers, R.V. Miles, Arthur Miles, Tommy Miles, Robert Miles and Coy Miles.

Mrs. Cole was a retired seamstress and was a member of the Gardner Church of Christ.

She is survived by her son, Joe (Vicki) Exum; her daughter, Sherry (Denny) Simmons; daughter-in-law, Kay Exum all of Martin; five grandchildren, Tammy Vancil, Angie (Drew) Bartholomew, Brian (Sabrina) Exum, Jennifer Mankin and Julie (Mike) Cox.
