Audrey Dickenson

d. September 26, 2025

Audrey S. Dickenson, age 86 and a resident of Martin, passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at Jackson Madison Hospital in Jackson, Tn.

Audrey Dickenson, age 86, was born in Prior Fen, Ely-Cambs, England, to Henry and Phyllis Stanford. Audrey grew up on their family potato farm in England and remained there until she met James "Keith" Dickenson. She would follow him across the ocean to America and find herself on a grand adventure for the rest of their days. Both Audrey and James Dickenson traveled the world as a Military family with children and, after coming to know the Lord, served Him wherever they went.

Audrey Dickenson loved the Lord, her family, and enjoyed surrounding herself with friends. She was a homemaker her entire life, took care of her children, and assisted with church functions and activities faithfully. Audrey loved baking and cooking for her family and others. At times, as a military spouse, she filled the shoes of both parents and took that responsibility with great pleasure. Audrey left an imprint on all she encountered and will be missed by many. Although we will miss her, we rejoice knowing that she is resting in the arms of our Lord and Savior.

Audrey was preceded in death by her husband James Dickenson, her son James Roger Dickenson, her parents Henry and Phyllis Stanford, her brother Hugh Stanford, and her sister Rene Cockerton.

Ms. Audrey is survived by her sons, Keith (Kristi) Dickenson, her daughter, Phyllis Pogue, and Paul (Anges) Dickenson, all of Martin, Tn.

Ms. Audrey had six grandchildren: April Constantino, Linda Pogue, Shawn Morrison, Micah Dickenson, Elijah Dickenson, and GraceAnna Dickenson.

Three great-grandchildren: James Constantino, Malik Pogue, and Maliki Constantino.

Two great-great-granddaughters, Daisy and Everleigh Constantino.
