Ms. Audrey Jeanne Roberts, age 97, and a resident of Martin, passed away on September 2, 2026, at Jackson-Madison General Hospital.
She was born on February 10, 1929, to the late James Bryan Perry and Martha W. Welsh Perry in Wilmington, DE.

Audrey was the President of the former Martin Manufacturing Company, a member of the Martin Rotary Club, the 20th Century Club, and the Music Guild. She was on the hospital board in Martin, the Federal Prison industry board where she was appointed by George W. Bush Sr.

Audrey is survived by five children, Jimmy (Teresa) Jones of Martin, TN, Judy (Lloyd) Snider of Gleason, TN, Jacki (Mike) Pierce of Martin, TN, Jeff (Missy) Jones of Monterey, TN, and Jill (Van) Dinning of Martin, TN; nine grandchildren, J.R Jones of Vero Beach, FL, Cynthia Smith of Medina, TN, Mikie Pierce of Martin, TN, Bryan Pierce of Suffolk, VA, Jonathan Jones of Knoxville, TN, Jason Jones of Cookville, Tn, Jared Jones of Charleston, SC, Carson Dinning of Martin, TN, and Garrett Dinning of Martin, TN; and twelve great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026, in our Funeral chapel from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, 
and on Sunday, September 6, from 12:00pm until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be on held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, September 6, 2026. at Murphy Funeral Home in our chapel.
Burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery.
