Mr. Barry Gene Bynum, age 63, and a resident of South Fulton, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2026, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital in Martin, TN.

Barry was born on November 17, 1962, to the late Charles and Evelyn Schroeder Bynum in Fulton, KY.
He was a member of South Side Baptist Church in Martin, TN, and worked as a Maintenance Technician at Cane Creek in Martin, TN. Barry had a passion for watching Tennessee Vols football and UFC, and he also took great satisfaction in mowing his lawn.

Mr. Bynum is survived by two children, Zoey Bynum of Greenfield, TN and Hunter (Maecy) Bynum of Bruceton, TN; his lifelong companion, Amy Bynum; nine siblings, Bob (Laurie) Bynum, Tom (Sandy) Bynum, Jimmy (Tenna) Bynum, Kim (Hugh) Waters, Donna Bynum, Drew (Angela) Bynum, Gary (Keith Durbin) Bynum, Janie (Ronnie) Dellinger, and Brad (Angie) Bynum.

Barry is preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2026, from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Murphy Funeral Home in our funeral chapel.
