Mrs. Betty Jean Bynum Wilson, age 92, a resident of Martin, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, TN. Betty was born on January 13, 1934, in Weakley County, TN, to the late Wayne and Ilar Mae Westerman Bynum.

She was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin, TN and a member in the Choir, a homemaker all of her life, active in the Woodmen of the World chapter 291, and in Operation Christmas Child, a member at the Martin Senior Adult Center. She loved ceramics, quilting, line dancing, and painting, and in her younger years, she taught handwriting at the Hyndsver School.

Mrs. Wilson is survived by her two sons, Robert Stanley (Rosetta) Wilson of Martin, TN and Bradley Lance (Becky) Wilson of Martin, TN; one daughter-in-law, Debbie Wilson of Martin, TN; eleven grandchildren, Rosie Washburn of Union City, TN, Katie (Jerry) Hopper of Carroll Co. TN, Justin (Davida) Wilson of Martin, TN, Rylee Wilson Kinsman of Springfield, MO, Brandi (Lauren) Wilson- Stallworth of Loxley, AL, Gavin Ford of Martin, TN, Kaisen Borden of Martin, TN, Sylar Morden of Martin, TN, Jerzi Borden of Martin, TN, Lori Beth (Allen) Wilson Jones of Union City, TN, and Libbi Alise (Alex) Verdell of Troy, TN; eight great-grandchildren, Crickett Washburn of Union City, TN, Annslee Wilson of Martin, TN, Wyatt Wilson of Martin, TN, Clara Wilson of Martin, TN, Newt Wilson of Martin, TN, Georgianna Kinsman of Springfield, MO, Aaron Kinsman of Springfield, MO, and Isaac Stallworth of Loxley, AL; and one brother, Roger Dale Bynum of Nashville, TN.

In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Harold V. Wilson; one son, Stephen Dale Wilson; and two sisters, Lottie Polledo, and Deloris Wilson.

There will be no services held at time.
