Betty King

Mrs. Betty Brockwell King, age 88, died Monday, May 25, 2020, at her daughter's residence in Medina, Tennessee.

Graveside service will be Wednesday, May 27, 2020, 11:00 A.M. in East Side Cemetery with Bro. Ricky Phillips officiating.  Family and friends may assemble at 10:45 A.M. in the cemetery.

Mrs. King was preceded in death by her husband, Harry D. King; her parents, John Brockwell and Bertha Ross Brockwell; sister, Erda Knowles; brothers, Herschel Brockwell and Virgil Brockwell.

Mrs. King was a member of Martin Church of Christ.  She was retired from Volunteer General Hospital where she was Director of Nursing.  She was a graduate of the Baptist Hospital School of Nursing in Memphis and a 1950 graduate of Martin High School.  

She is survived by two daughters, Heather (Chris) Rawdon of Medina, TN and Marsha King of Dallas, TX; one sister, Dorothy (James) Eley of Corinth, MS; two granddaughters, Gracen Rawdon and Hadley Rawdon; niece, Mary Ann Eley; nephew, John David Eley.
