Betty Rushing

Mrs. Betty Jean Rushing, age 93, of Martin died Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at Weakley County Nursing Home in Dresden, Tennessee.

Graveside Service will be Friday, July 1, 2022, 11:00 A.M. in East Side Cemetery in Martin with Brandon Norton officiating.  Visitation will be Friday beginning at 9:30 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by her husband, Elbert J. Rushing; her son and daughter-in-law, Jack and Donna Rushing; her parents, James Willie McKinney and Mary Ellen Jackson McKinney; her daughter-in-law, Barbara Rushing.

She was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Jeannie (John) Ayers of Murfreesboro, TN; her son, James Rushing of Dresden;  eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
