Billy Brown Morrison

Mr. Billy Brown  Morrison, age 86, died Saturday, Dec. 22, 2018, at the Waters of Union City, TN.

Funeral service will be Friday, December 28, 2018, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Griffin officiating.  Burial will follow in Sandy Branch cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 2:00.

Mr. Morrison was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church; he was a retired Master Mechanic for Illinois Central Gulf Rail Road; he was a graduate of Martin High School.

Mr. Morrison is survived by his daughter, Billie (Terry) Kirk, Hornbeak, TN; three grandchildren, Thomas(Alisse) Kirk, Martin, TN, Kelly (Robert) Liedtke, Newpoint News, VA, and Matthew (Rachel) Morrison, Louisville, KY; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Judy Hazlewood, Martin, TN; and a sister-in-law, Norma Jean Morrison, Memphis, TN.

Mr. Morrison was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Jean Clinard Morrison, a sister, Mary Virginia Wilson,  his brothers, James, Herbert, and Dean Morrison, and his parents, Orvin and Lola Brown Morrison.
