Bobby Harold Gardner

Mr. Bobby Harold Gardner, age 86, of Martin died Saturday, August 3, 2019, at CuraHealth in Nashville.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, August 7, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Bible Union Baptist Church with Rev. Keith Sumner officiating.  Burial will follow in Tansil Cemetery in Sharon.  Visitation will be Tuesday from 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home, or after 10:00 Wednesday morning at Bible Union until service time.

Mr. Gardner was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church where he served as deacon and song leader for over 40 years.  He was a graduate of Martin High School and a retired farmer. 

Mr. Gardner is survived by his wife, Bobbie Blanchett Gardner; his daughter, Linda(Roger) Hill;  his son, Gene (Kay) Gardner, all of Martin; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lyrlene Baker Gardner; his son, Barry Lee Gardner;  sister, Marie Wright; parents, Hosie Clarence and Velmer Frances Rowlett Gardner.
