Ms. Bula Dee Plunk, age 90, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at her residence.

Bula was born in Waverly, TN, on June 6, 1935, to the late Gaines Hilman "G.H."  and Emmer Dee Rushing Baker.
She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin and was retired from Walmart.
Bula cherished her days as a high school basketball player with her sister, and they were known as the Baker girls under the coaching of Ms. Wiles.

Ms. Plunk is survived by three children, Ray Plunk of Jackson, TN, Michael Plunk of Nashville, TN, and Keith (Cathy) Plunk of Rockmart, GA; seven grandchildren, Tony Plunk of Tega Cay, SC, Brittney Plunk of Clarksville, TN, Brandon Plunk of Martin, TN, Alex Plunk of South Fulton, TN, Russell Plunk of Martin, TN, Walker Plunk of Martin, TN, and Cothron Plunk of Martin, TN; and three great-grandchildren, Zoey, Elizabeth, and Axel of South Fulton, TN.

In addition to her parents, Bula is preceded in death by her husband, Doyles Wayne Plunk; one son, Chad Plunk; three sisters, and two brothers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am until the hour of the service in our funeral chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, February 13, 2026, in our funeral chapel.
Harvel Baker will officiate.
Burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery.
