Carroll E. Slack
September 10, 1941 — August 29, 2020
Dr. Carroll E. Slack, age 78, died Saturday, August 29, 2020, at Baptist Hospital in Huntingdon, Tennessee.
Visitation with the family will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2020, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.
Dr. Slack is survived by his wife, Linda Snow Slack, of Martin; his daughter, Stephanie Slack-Allen, of Buchanan, TN; his son, Paul (Jennifer) Slack of Martin; four grandchildren, Cody Anderson, Tyler Morris, Logan Morris and Amelia Slack; one great-grandson; Teagan Anderson; his sister, Sandra K. Prewitt of Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He was a retired Professor of Biology at The University of Tennessee at Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Theron Paul Slack and Ora Pease Slack; one brother, Bobby Slack.
