Mr. Cary Earl Weldon, age 74, of Martin died Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at his residence.
Funeral Service will be Friday, July 29, 2016, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Brady Weldon officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be Thursday, July 28, 2016, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Vernon "Rip" Jones, Randy Connell, Mike Ford, Charlie Rowlett, Mark Ford, Mike Rinker and Mark Prince. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tommy Martin, Doug Copeland, Larry Baker, Dale Bolding, Charles Harding and Raphael Walker.
Mr. Weldon is survived by his children, Cameron Evan (Beth) Weldon of Martin, Braden Ashley (Lea) Weldon of Nashville and Melanie (Greg) Taylor of Martin; five grandchildren, Chance Weldon, Summer Weldon, Savannah Davis, Alex Hughey and Chevy Taylor; one great-grandchild, Hallie Davis.
Mr. Weldon, along with his family, owned and operated Argo-Collier Truck Lines, Inc. in Martin. He was a graduate of Martin High School and a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton Earnest Weldon and Virginia Moore Weldon; one sister, Roma Jean Weldon.
