Christine Adams

Mrs. Mary Christine Adams, age 94, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at her home in Martin.

Funeral service will be Thursday, September 22, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Central Baptist Church with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday beginning at 10:00 A.M. at the church until funeral time at 1:00. 

Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Adams; her parents, John Forrester and Annie Myrtle Hawks Forrester and seven siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Jan Wainscott of Martin; two grandchildren, Stephanie Leigh (Keith) Walker and Jennifer Carole (Josh) Shamblin; four great-grandchildren, Savannah Doughty, Kendall Walker, Beau Shamblin and Kate Shamblin; one great great-grandchild, Rhett Doughty.

Mrs. Adams, along with her husband, owned and operated Star Dry Cleaners in Martin before retirement.  She was a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
