Ms. Chrystal Brooks Lyell, age 44 of Martin, passed away on September 24, 2025, at Maury Regional Health in Waynesboro,Tn.

Chrystal Brooks Lyell was born on June 4, 1981 in Union City, TN. Brooks grew up in Obion County and spent the majority of her adult life in Martin, TN. Though Brooks had challenges with mobility and communication, she lived a full life, surrounded by friends and those that loved her and cared for her. Brooks enjoyed parties and spending time outside. She loved being in the sunshine and having the breeze in her face. Brooks was a beautiful young lady with big, bright brown eyes and a smile that lit up the room. She enjoyed sightseeing and shopping with friends. Brooks was a joy to be around, and those in her circle viewed her as a gift.

There will be a graveside service for Brooks on September 29, 2025 at 2:00pm at the Eastside Cemetery in Martin, TN.
