Colleen Moon

Mrs. Colleen  Moon, age 92, died Tuesday, July 12, 2022, at Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral service will be Friday, July 15, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Friday beginning at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home until service time at 1:00.

Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Moon; her son, Kerry Moon, parents, Ulis Gene Janes and Edna Ellis Janes; sisters, Pam Brooks, Mildred Frields, Frances Daniels; brothers, Charles Janes, Tommy Janes, Ellis Janes and Gene Janes.

Mrs. Moon was a retired decorator along with many other talents she enjoyed.  She was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Frank Vincent of Martin; four grandchildren, Chris (Kristy) Vincent, Jeff (Michelle) Vincent all of Martin, Stacy (Bryan) Huddleston of Brentwood, TN and Heather Moon of Palmersville, TN; 11 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
