Danny Burkett

Mr. Danny Kaye Burkett, age 73, of Martin died Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital.

Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M. Saturday, August 12, 2023, at Murphy Funeral Home.  A cremation will take place after the visitation with his family.

Mr. Burkett is survived by his wife, Dorothy Lee Burkett and his daughter, Stephanie (Chris) Mingle all of Martin; his brother, Jackie (Jo) Burkett of Leavenworth, Kansas; his two sisters, Phyllis (Roy) Pierpoint of Dresden and Judy (David) Todd of Martin; four grandchildren, Brodie Dan Mingle, Logan Mingle, Payton Mingle and Autumn Mingle.

Danny owned and operated Burkett Farms in Martin.  He was a 1968 graduate of Martin High School.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.H. "Jack" Burkett and Katherine Phelps Burkett; one twin brother, David Ray Burkett.
