Ms. Deborah Sue Caruthers, age 73, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026, at Henry County Nursing Facility.

Deborah was born on September 18, 1952, to the late Charles Chappell and Mary Sue Gardner Chappell.
She was a homemaker and a Graduate of Martin High School.

Ms. Caruthers is survived by her son, Joshua (Mandi) Guy of Dresden, TN; three grandchildren, Cerria Everett of Knoxville, TN, Gabriel Guy of South Fulton, TN, and Jakob Guy of Sharon, TN; two great-grandchildren, Theo Guy of Sharon, TN, and Whitfield Weiss of Knoxville, TN.

In addition to her parents, Deborah is preceded in death by one brother, Joe Charles Chappell.
