Dorothy Sue Hazlewood

Mrs. Dorothy Sue Hazlewood, age 92. of Martin, TN, died Saturday, 07/17/2021, at her home.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Wednesday, 07/21/2021, at Murphy Funeral Home, with Dr. Roger S. Oldham and Rev. Matthew Nance officiating, with burial to follow at East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Tuesday, 07/20/2021 at the funeral home between 5:00 PM and 7:00 PM.

 Mrs. Hazlewood was a retired rural mail carrier for the Martin Post Office; she was a member of First Baptist Church, Union City, TN.

Mrs. Hazlewood was preceded in death by her husband, William Harold Hazlewood, and her parents, Samuel Carlos and Ruby Jewell Dilday Jones.

Mrs. Hazlewood is survived by her three sons, Alan (Phyllis) Hazlewood, Billy (Lisa) Hazlewood, and Cary (Tammy) Hazlewood, all of Martin, TN; she has six grandchildren, Holly Hazlewood, Hope Powers, Candace Thornton, Amy Mosayebi, Alex Hazlewood, Addison Hazlewood;  and five great grandchildren, Faith Davis, Mason Mosayebi, Darcy Thornton, Bailey Thornton, and George Womack (Gray) Thornton, IV; and a sister, Luan (Dale) Trentham, St Louis, MO.
