Freda Mcwherter Mcdaniel Willis

Mrs. Freda McWherter McDaniel Willis, age 82, of Martin, TN, died Friday, 08/27/2021, at VanAyer Manor Healthcare and Rehab.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Sunday, 08/29/2021, at Murphy Funeral Home, with Marcine Cook officiating, with burial to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Sharon, TN.  Visitation will be from 12:00 PM Sunday until service time.

Mrs. Willis was the widow of James Franklin McDaniel; she was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Nancy Myrtle Kingston McWherter; preceded in death by her siblings, Seldon Jackson McWherter, Doyle I. McWherter, Clara Lopez Jackson, and Alpha Bell Jackson. She was of the Baptist faith; she was retired from the University of Tennessee, Martin, as a book keeper.

Mrs. Willis is survived by her daughter, Nancy (Ray) Barner, Martin, TN; her son, Steve McDaniel, Caruthersville, MO; her four grandchildren, Justin (Jill) Bell, Leanna (Brandon) Stephenson, Alivia (Claude) Joes, and Abby McDaniel; seven great grandchildren, Avery Bell, Ashlyn Bell, Anna Laura Bell, Blaine Joes, Carter Stephenson, Cooper Stephenson, and Britton Joes; special grandson, Tyler Crawford; and her sister, Zela Wallace, Jackson, TN.
