Mr. Glynn Barron, age 88, of Martin, TN, peacefully passed away on Friday, August 1, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family at his home.

Born on May 11, 1937, in Trenton, Tennessee, Glynn was the cherished son of the late Carlie and Ruby Mai Thetford Barron. He honorably served his country as a United States Army veteran during the Korean War. A devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Martin, Glynn touched many lives throughout his years and retired as a Regional Supervisor from City Finance. He found joy in rabbit and coon hunting, horseback riding, and spending time with his beloved beagle dogs. However, his greatest joy came from being with his family, whom he loved deeply.
Glynn loved talking on the phone with his dog and horse-loving friends. He found great joy in buying, selling, and trading his beagle dogs. He would talk for hours and spend time joshing with his friends about who had the best, fastest, slowest, or smartest dogs. He loved getting young dogs and using his older dogs to train the young ones, then sell and/or trade them and start all over again. He had a lot of good buddies that he loved to chat with and just enjoyed life every day.
