Greta Morouney

Mrs. Greta Catherine Morouney, age 77, died Sunday, April 4, 2021, at her residence in Martin, Tennessee.

Graveside services will be Friday, 04/09/2021, 12:00 pm (Noon), at Gardner Cemetery with Father David Orsak officiating, with burial to follow. Friends may assemble at the cemetery at 11:45 Friday.

Mrs. Morouney was preceded in death by her husband, Michael J. Morouney, III; her parents, Deserie Sampson and Agnes Sampson; two brothers, Basil Sampson and Roger Sampson.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughters, Greta Paugh of Martin and Patricia Morouney of Paducah, KY; her sons, Michael J. (Lonna) Morouney, IV of Darien, WI, James  Morouney of Martin; sisters, Olive Gudgin of Ontario, Canada, Nina Gillis and Lowena Howell both of Nova Scotia, Canada; brothers, Gus Sampson and Claude Sampson both of Nova Scotia, Canada; six grandchildren, Jordan (Richelle) Skoda, Adam Skoda, Jennifer Gilbertson, Mara Morouney, Joe Morouney and Jane Morouney; great-grandchildren, Landon Skoda, Natalie Skoda and Selena Paschall.
