G.T. Hall

Mr. George Trent Hall, age 89, of Martin died Wednesday, June 6, 2022, in Memphis, Tennessee.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, July 13, 2022, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Pastor Amanda Crice and Rev. Randy Cooper officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 12:00 Noon at the funeral home until service time at 2:00.

Mr. Hall is survived by his wife, Linda Raines Hall of Martin; his daughter, Tracy Hall (Mark) Llewellyn of Indianapolis, IN; his son, George Trent Hall, III of Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Emily (Chance) Baker; sister, Marion Hall (Lowell) Fields of Martin.

He earned his electrical engineering degree from Clemson University after serving in the US Navy for four years aboard submarines.  He was a retired Electrical Engineer for TVA and a faithful member of the First United Methodist Church in Martin. GT was a member of the American Legion Post 55.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George Macon Hall and Marion Polk Everett Hall.
