Iris Seratt
January 8, 1930 — January 20, 2022
Mrs. Iris Marie Seratt, age 92, died Thursday, January 20, 2022, at West Tennessee Healthcare Volunteer Hospital in Martin.
Graveside service will be Sunday, January 23, 2022, 2:30 P.M. at Bible Union Cemetery in Martin with Rev. Terry Griffin officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 P.M. - 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Seratt was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas L. Seratt, Sr.; her parents, Charlie Nelson Autry and Ethel Belle Faulkner Autry.
She, along with her husband, owned and operated Otasco's in Martin before they both retired. She was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas L. (Sarae) Seratt, II of Martin and Charles Bryant (Wanda) Seratt of South Fulton, TN; four grandchildren, Tommy (Meagan) Seratt, Chuck (Becca) Seratt, Bethany (Michael) Carter and Anna (Gaven) Hollandsworth; five great-grandchildren, Ella Claire Hollandsworth, Jaxon Thomas Carter, Luke Thomas Seratt, Ethan Matthew Carter and Peyton James Hollandsworth.
