Ms. Jean B. Johnson, age 92, and a resident of Martin, TN, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at her residence.

Jean was born on October 18, 1933, in Aurora, IL, to the late Arthur Earl and Barbara Helen Boffmeyer.
She had been an active member of Oak Hill Methodist Church in Martin, TN, since 1956, and she was a devoted homemaker with a deep passion for an extensive array of crafts, painting, ceramics, and quilting.

Jean is survived by her four sons, Dennis (Deborah) Johnson of Knoxville, TN, Roger (Karen) Johnson of Martin, TN, Mike (Melissa) Johnson of Martin, TN, and Brent (Stacy) Johnson of Obion, TN; seven grandchildren, Karri (Bryan) Collier of Jackson, TN, Daniel Johnson of Knoxville, TN, Chris (Jackie) Johnson of Martin, TN, Derek (Taylor) Johnson of Medina, TN, Max Johnson of Martin, TN, Michaela Johnson of Knoxville, TN, and Mollie (Tucker) Swain of Hardin, KY; five great-grandchildren, Morgan Collier of Knoxville, TN, Drew Collier of Jackson, TN, Claire Johnson of Martin, TN, James Johnson of Medina, TN and Camyrn Johnson of Martin, TN; one sister, Barbara Ellen Phillips of Stevensville, MI and one brother Ricky A Lavigne of Aurora, IL.

In addition to her parents, Jean is preceded in death by her husband, Billy Max Johnson; one grandchild, Emily Johnson; and one sister, Mary Ann Coan.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 5, 2026, in our funeral chapel from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Oak Hill Methodist Church in Martin, TN, beginning at 9:00 am until the hour of service.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Oak Hill Methodist Church in Martin, TN.
Pastor Cathy Barnett will officiate.
Burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
