Mr. Jerry Lynn Baker, age 70, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by his family.

Mr. Baker was born in Obion County, TN, on May 24, 1955, to the late J.L Baker and Florence Katherine Williams Heathcock.
Jerry was of the Baptist faith and was a retired Battalion Chief for the Martin Fire Department, where he served for 42 years.

Mr. Baker is survived by his wife of 39 years, Debbie Wilson Baker of Martin, TN; two daughters, Jennifer (Travis) Smiley of Martin, TN, and Kelly Jackson of Martin, TN; four grandchildren, Chase Black, Natalie Black, Keiana Chandler, and Anniston Chandler; and one sister-in-law, Rusty Baker.

In addition to his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by five siblings, Junior Lee Baker, James "Frog" Baker, Shirley Redmond, Robert Earls, and James Earls.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 26, 2026, beginning at 11:00 am until the hour of service in our funeral chapel.
Funeral services will be on held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, March 26, 2026, in our funeral chapel.
Burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery.
