Johnny Elkins

Mr. Johnny Lee Elkins, age 57, and a resident of Union City, TN, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.

He was born in Elgin, IL on August 31, 1968, to the late John Calvin Elkins and Lora Dale Henry Sills.

Johnny was a member of the Johnson Grove Baptist Church in South Fulton, TN, and attended Meridian Baptist Church in Greenfield, TN. He graduated from South Fulton High School, Class of 1988, and was employed as a Fabricator at J & J Cupples in Jackson, TN. Johnny was an avid Green Bay Packers fan. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Johnny is survived by his two daughters, Samantha Hamil and Katelynn Elkins; four grandchildren, Kensley Hamil, Isabelle Hamil, Camryn Booker, and Ava Booker; one sister, Tracey (James) Toney of Martin, TN; one brother. Jeffery Sills of Alamo, TN, five nieces, Julie Aquilar, Christina Jones, Annie Buckley, Tiffany Gardiner, and Amber Fulmer; and one nephew, John Calvin Elkins II.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother, Jeff “Jeffro” Elkins.

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Elkins will be at 1:00 pm on Thursday, November 20, 2025, in our Funeral Chapel.
Bro. Drew Shepard and Bro. John Williams will officiate,
with burial to follow in the Johnson Grove Cemetery,
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in our Funeral Chapel
and anytime on Thursday until the hour of service.
