Joyce Daugherty

Mrs. Joyce Alice Daugherty, age 81, died Wednesday, February 6, 2019, at her residence.

Funeral service will be Sunday, February 10, 2019; 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Reagan officiating.  Burial will follow in Sunset Cemetery in Dresden.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 9, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M., or after 12:00 Noon on Sunday until funeral time at 2:00.

Mrs. Daugherty was preceded in death by her husbands, Randall Brown and William James "Bird Dog" Daugherty; her son, Bobby Milton Brown; her parents, Walter Adam "Buck" Rogers and Nora Malissa Phillips Weldon and step-father, Hershel Weldon; brother, Kelly Lynn Rogers.

Mrs. Daugherty retired from Illinois Central Gulf Railroad in Fulton, Kentucky.  She was a member of Beech Springs Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Carol (Pete) Carr; her sons, Michael Dean Brown and Eddie Wayne (Lori) Brown all of Martin; brother, Jerry Dean Rogers; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
