Mrs. Julia Mae Brundige, age 93, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her residence.

Julia was born on March 7, 1932, in Martin, TN to the late Wilbern and Laura Hazlewood, she was an active member at Central Baptist Church in Martin, TN, and was a self-employed Hairdresser, and had a love for flowers of all kinds. Julia wed her husband of 74 years, Robert Brundige in Mississippi on August 8, 1951.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Brundige of Martin, TN; one son, Mike (Michelle) Brundige of Martin, TN; two grandchildren, Rebecca (Ralph) Turnbow of Martin, TN and Andrew (Ashley) Brundige of Union City, TN; eight great-grandchildren, Dylan Brundige of Martin, TN, Jacob Durham of Martin, TN, Hudson Durham of Martin, TN, Charlotte Brundige of Union City, TN, William Brundige of Union City, TN, Bella Turnbow of Greenfield, TN, Blaize Turnbow of Greenfield, TN and M.J Turnbow of Greenfield, TN; Sarah Calhoun of Dyersburg, TN. Beatrice Stubblefield of Union City, TN, and Jimmy Hazelwood of Milan, TN.

In addition to her parents, Julia is preceded in death by two siblings, Carolyn Tidwell and Ricky Hazelwood

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 2:00 pm in our funeral chapel.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2026, beginning at 12:00 pm until the hour of service in our funeral chapel.
Burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery.
