Katie LeAnn Reams

Mrs. Katie LeAnn Reams, age 40, of Martin, TN passed away at the Volunteer Community Hospital on Wednesday, May 13, 2025. She was born on February 23, 1985, in Cedar Rapids, IA to David and Velaine "Vogt" Bonebright.

Katie completed five years of college earning three Master's Degrees. Then, became a Lecturer and Professor in the Biology Department at the University of Tennessee at Martin. She loved all six of her cats.

She is survived by her parents, her husband of fourteen years, Dain Reams; one brother, Carl (Nicole) Bonebright of Madison, AL; one niece, Charlotte Bonebright and one nephew Seamus Bonebright.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
