Obituary

Mr. Larry Kelly, age 84 and a resident of Martin, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2026, at his residence.

Larry Kelly was born on December 2, 1941, in Carroll County, Tennessee, to the late Jack Kelly and Mary Elizabeth Coleman Kelly. He was an active member of the Martin Church of Christ, served in the Army National Guard, and was the retired co-owner and operator of The Color Shop and Color Shop Construction with his brother Richard Kelly in Martin. He also served as a Weakley County Commissioner, was a former Weakley County Alderman, and sat on the board of Everett Stewart Airport in Union City.

Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Wade Kelly of Martin, TN; three children, Kenneth Wade ( Leslee) Kelly of Jackson, TN, Bryan Keith Kelly of Martin, TN, and Marcie Kelly Hicks of Martin, TN; seven grandchildren, Mary Kate Kelly of Jackson, TN, Matthew (Lila) Kelly of Chattanooga, TN, Kyle (Racheal) Kelly of Dallas, TX, Zeick Hicks of Knoxville, TN, Jasper Hicks of Lebanon, TN Ava Hicks of Louisville, KY and Beau Kelly of Lebanon, TN; two great-grandchildren, Jack Kelly of Chattanooga, TN and Kennedy Kelly of Dallas, TX; three siblings, Jimmy (Ann) Kelly of Martin, TN, Lynn (Susan) Kelly of Sparta, TN and Richard Kelly of Martin, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kelly is preceded in death by one sibling, Jackie Sue Foster.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Martin Church of Christ, beginning at 9:00 a.m. and concluding at the hour of service at noon.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at the Martin Church of Christ.
Bro. Danny Lamb will officiate the service.
Burial to follow at Eastside Cemetery in Martin.

Pallbearers to serve:
Kenneth Kelly, Bryan Kelly, Matthew Kelly, Kyle Kelly, Zeick Hicks, Jasper Hicks, and Beau Kelly.
