Lee Tatum

Mr. William Lee Tatum, age 73, died Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Van Ayer Nursing and Rehab Center in Martin.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, January 8, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Rev. John Worrell and Rev. Kylan Mann officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will be Wednesday beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time at 2:00.

Pallbearers are Shawn Miles, Adam Miles, Seth Mitchell, Charlie Davis, John Mark Walker, Billy Gene Wagster and Cody Barner.

Mr. Tatum is survived by his wife, Darlene Walker Tatum; his daughter, Deana (Shawn)Miles; all of Martin; two sisters, Anne Allen of Dyersburg, TN and Angela Kidd of Dyer, TN;  two grandchildren, Erin (Greg) Alderdice and Adam Miles; one great-grandson, Grey Alderdice; niece, Christy Coffman and several other nieces and nephews.

He was retired from the City of Martin and was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Martin.

Mr. Tatum was preceded in death by his parents, Ivory Tatum and Mavis Turner Tatum; brother, James "Toby" Tatum.
