Leslie (Danny) Daniel Mcelhiney

Mr. Leslie Daniel (Danny) McElhiney, age 70, died Saturday, 09/18/2021, at St Thomas Hospital West, Nashville, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be private.

Pallbearers will be Doug Sims, Joel Ayers, Raines Ayers, Randy Frazier, Robert Jeter, Bryan Rich and Tootie Abernathy.

Mr. McElhiney was retired from Abernathy Harley-Davidson in Union City.  He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Gleason.

He is survived by his wife, Sandra Wade McElhiney, Martin, TN; his daughters, Kellie (Doug) Sims, Martin, TN, and Ashley (Joel) Ayers, Jackson, TN;  his five grandchildren, Jacey Sims, McCall Sims, Haylen Ayers, Raines Ayers, and Jentri Ayers; one brother, Jerry (Pam) McElhiney, Gleason, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Les and Evelyn Wells McElhiney.
