Linda Bowers

Mrs. Linda Brooks Bowers, age 77, of Martin died Sunday, at her residence.

Funeral service will be Thursday, July 22, 2021, 1:00 P.M. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Michael Norton officiating.  Burial will follow in Cate Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation will be Thursday at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until funeral time at 1:00.

Ms. Bowers is survived by her children, Vicky (Gerry) Baloga of Camden, TN and Jamey Edward (Dina) Bowers of Milan, TN; three grandchildren, Dalton Bowers, Harley Taylor and Tricia Baloga; three great-grandchildren, Sebastian Merrell, Emmerson Merrell and Rylan Merrell.

Linda retired from Volunteer Distributing Company and was a longtime bookkeeper for Truitt Jones Accounting Firm.  She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Halon Brooks and Corleda Peery Brooks; one sister, Nancy Brooks Maynard.
