Margie Dillon

Mrs. Margie Nell Dillon, age 84, died Tuesday, May 5, 2020, at her residence in Martin.

Private graveside service will be Saturday, May 9, 2020.  A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Dillon was preceded in death by her husband, William Arthur Dillon; her parents, Oscar Harry Fincher and Rosie Irene Oxley Fincher; two brothers, Thomas Fincher and Junior Fincher; one great-grandchild, Victoria Henson.

Mrs. Dillon was a retired Nursing Professor and chairman of the nursing program at The University of Tennessee at Martin.  She was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughter, Sheila (John) Fairless of North Venice, FL; two sons, Douglas (Susan) Dillon of Largo, FL and Charles (Brenda) Dillon of Martin; three grandchildren; William Fairless, Christopher Fairless and Kayla Fairless Silcox; three step-grandchildren, Justin Frazier, Aleisha Frazier and Ashleigh Henson; one great-granddaughter, Katie Fairless; five step great-grandchildren, Mattie Jo Frazier, Leia Cathey, Avery Cathey, James Grogan and Gary Henson.
