Mary Elizabeth Powers

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Powers, age 99, died Sunday, June 16, 2019, at Diversicare in Martin.

Graveside Service will be Friday, June 21, 2019, 2:00 P.M. in East Side Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 12:00 Noon on Friday at Murphy Funeral Home for two hours.

Pallbearers are Don Carter, Levi Carter, James Powers, Tim Daman, Robert Powers and Robin Powers.

Mrs. Powers was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Powers; her son, Rowland Powers; parents, Ed Rowland and Eula Green Rowland; nephew, Eddie Rowland.  She is survived by her brother, Edgar Rowland, Jr. of Martin; niece, Donna Perry of Dresden and Tiny (Don) Hamm of Martin; great-niece, Shannon (Richard) Null of Mayfield, KY; great-nephew, Brent (Katie) Perry of Dresden.

Mrs. Powers was a homemaker and a member of Central Baptist Church in Martin.
