Ms. Mary Hensley, age 69, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026, at her residence surrounded by family.

Mary was born on October 13,1956, to the late Robert Taylor Burns and Mary Hazel Pierce Burns.
She was a graduate of Friendship High school, and a retired licensed practical nurse at Obion County Nursing Home in Union City, TN. 

Ms. Hensley is survived by her two children, Tabi (Dennis) Fluty of Martin, TN, and Nate Hensley of Martin, TN ; eight grandchildren, Taylor Hensley of Martin, TN, Dillon Hensley of Martin, TN, Peyton Hensley of Martin, TN, Grace Hensley of Shelbyville, TN, Bayley Sturdidant of Dyersburg, TN, Jakob Guy of Martin, TN, Ryley Fluty of Martin, TN, and Kaitlin Fluty of Martin, TN; five great-grandchildren, Ayden Hensley of Martin, TN, Tho Guy of Martin, TN, Kienen Browning of Martin, TN, Hunter Sturdidant of Dyersburg, TN, and Hudson Sturdidant of Dyersburg, TN.

She is preceded in death by her parents.
