Max Lee

Mr. Max Harold Lee, age 93, of Martin died Friday, March 17, 2023, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 03/22/2023, at 1:00 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, with Rev. Michael Norton officiating, with burial to follow at Cate Cemetery.  Visitation will be after 11:00 AM at the church until service time.  

Mr. Lee is survived by his wife, Verna Wren Lee of Martin; his son, Ricky (Donna) Lee of Portland, TN; his daughter, Debbie (Tommy) Mount of Martin; four grandchildren, Misti (Jacob) Coleman, Maci (Travis) Reaves, Maley (Adam) Bailey, and Channa (Seth) Marsh; eleven great grandchildren, Anna Beth Coleman, Lynnsie Coleman, Creek Coleman, Silas Coleman, Keslee Marsh, Everleigh Marsh, Emma Reaves, Ava Reaves, Braylon Bailey, Elijah Marsh, and Coralynn Bailey; a sister-in-law, Joyce Lee; and several nieces and nephews.

He was retired from Kellwood in Greenfield and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Martin; he was a U.S. Army veteran serving in Korean War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd Lee and Iva Brooks Lee; his brother, Joe Lee.
