Micheal Lynn Hollingsworth

Micheal Lynn Hollingsworth, age 61, slipped away peacefully in his sleep at home on Sunday, 03/03/2024, after  long struggle with cancer.  He was born in Sparta, TN to William Battes and Tennie Elizabeth Alley Hollingsworth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, William Battes Hollingsworth, Jr. and his beloved wife, Susan Elaine Clements Hollingsworth.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, 03/07/2024, at 1:00 PM, at East Side Cemetery, Martin, TN, with Rev. Larry Washburn officiating, with burial to follow.  Friends may assemble at the cemetery at 12:45 PM for the services.

Micheal is survived by his step son, Denzel Jacob Abney III(Tiffany and step daughter Amity), of Cookeville, TN; a sister, Sherrie Holman, Knoxville, TN; nieces, Jennifer Thurman, Biskie (Josh) Duncan; nephew, William Travis Holman; and great nephews, Michael Clay Thurman, William Thomas Thurman, and Elwood Atticus Holman.
