Mildred Travis

Mrs. Mildred Lorean Travis of Martin, age 81, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at her residence.

A Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 20, 2014, at the home of Sylvia Mallard, 409 Church Street in Martin beginning at 2:00 P.M.

Mrs. Travis was preceded in death by her husband, J.D. Travis; her parents, Jeff S.(Brown) Davis and Itna Leona Kesterson Tuck; her brothers, Wesley Vernon Davis, Vernon Lee Bayne, Earl Davis, Russell Davis; her sisters, Ella Maurine Davis, Marie Shankle; great- grandson, Kurt Goudey. She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Mallard of Martin; four grandchildren, Nayomi (Andrew) Warren, Yvette (James Crawford) LaRue, Jeremiah (Ryan) Brock, Nancy (Derick) Racheals; eight great-grandchildren, B.J. Goudey, Auriel Brock, Madelynn Gann, Destiny Hazlewood, Anika Brock, Annabell Racheals, Emma Warren, Brittany Goudey.

Mrs. Travis retired from housekeeping at UTM.
