Ms. Mildred Joan Ward, age 86, and a resident of Martin, passed away on Monday, March 30, 2026, at West Tennessee Hospital in Martin, TN.

Mildred was born on July 14, 1939, in Chicago, IL, to the late Gordon Ward and Ritz Dietz.
She was a retired office manager at Myer and Company. She enjoyed watching TV, especially The View and General Hospital.

Mildred is survived by her daughter, Rita (Milton) Watson of Fairdale, KY; one grandson, Kenneth Gordon Dailey of Jeffersonville, IN; one sister, Iris Joyner of Martin, TN; one brother, Ronald Ward of Martin, TN.

In addition to her parents, Ms. Ward is preceded in death by one brother, James Ward; and one sister Deborah Ward.

There will be no services held at this time.
