Mizellia (Mizzie) Hammonds
February 4, 1938 — October 29, 2019
Ms. Mizellia (Mizzie) McDaniel Hammonds, age 81, died Tuesday, October 29, 2019, at Weakley County Nursing and Rehab in Dresden.
Funeral service will be Friday, November 1, 2019, 11:00 A.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Bro. Don Bowling officiating. Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, October 31, 2019, from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Ms. Hammonds is survived by her children, Stanley Dwayne (Charlotte) Brooks, Timothy Ray McDaniel both of Sharon and Tommy Lee (Mona) McDaniel of Martin; three grandchildren, Shyanne Cleek, Kayleigh Cleek and William Cleek.
She was retired from food services for the Weakley County School System. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Sharon.
Ms. Hammonds was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Thomas McDaniel; her parents, Willis Chambers and Willie Mae Taylor Chambers; grandson, James Cleek.
