Nannie Crittendon

Mrs. Nannie Lou Crittendon, age 91, died Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at her home in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, 1:00 P.M. at Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin with Rev. Keith Sumner officiating.  Burial will follow in Bible Union Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday at the church beginning at 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Family will serve as pallbearers.

Mrs. Crittendon was preceded in death by her husband, Alpheus "Bud" Crittendon; her parents, Golsby Gatewood and Juanita Sadler Gatewood; four brothers, Bobby Gatewood, Jimmy Gatewood, Billy Gatewood and Gene Gatewood;  one grandson, Nathan Plunk.

She  retired after 35 years at Baybee Shoe Company then spent several years working at Weakley County Nursing Home.  She was a member of Bible Union Baptist Church in Martin.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Ronald) Plunk and Bonnie Wiseman; one sister, Shirley Rush all of Martin; three grandchildren, Johnny Plunk, Jason (Michelle) Plunk and Honey Jo (Wendell) Teague; six great-grandchildren, Devan (Hannah) Raymer, Elizabeth Plunk, Emily Plunk, Abigale Plunk, Jake Cantrell and Sarah Plunk; one great great-grandson, Jack Raymer. 

Memorial requested to Bible Union Cemetery Association.
