Nina Rose Moss Gilliam, age 76, of McConnell, TN, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at Van Ayer Healthcare and Rehabilitation in Martin, TN. 

She was born on May 19, 1950. Nina was a lifetime member of the McConnell Baptist Church and a former employee of the Weakley County Nursing home in Dresden, TN.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May 29, 2026, at Murphy Funeral Home in Martin, with burial in Eastside cemetery in Martin. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the hour of service at Murphy Funeral Home.

She is survived by one sister, Sylviadeen Pewitt of Fulton, KY; two brothers, Richard H. Moss and Michael Grant Moss both of Martin, TN; with several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gilliam; her mother Veneda Moss; her father, R.H Moss, and three sisters, Alvaleen Boone, Lena Lou Boone, and Myra Ann Walker.

Pallbearers will be her nephews, Randy Walker of Humbolt, TN, Richard and John Moss both of Martin, TN, John Grant McConnell of South Fulton, TN, John Lane McConnell of South Fulton, TN, and Ricky Harris of Humbolt, TN.
