Norman Freeman

Mr. Norman Thomas Freeman, age 73, of Martin died Sunday, March 6, 2022, at his Hyndsver home.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 9, 2022, 1:00 P.M. at Murphy Funeral Home with Richard Glasgow officiating.  Burial will follow in East Side Cemetery in Martin.  Visitation with the family will begin at 11:30 A.M. at the funeral home until funeral time at 1:00.

Pallbearers are James Denton Bell, Ron Bowlin, Pat Laycook, Steve Adams, Mike Miller and Mike Freeman.

Norman was a sixth generation farmer, business owner and car/motorcyclist enthusiast.  When he wasn't tinkering in his shop, he was spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Patsy Booker Freeman; his son Jason (Kelly) Freeman both of Martin; his daughter, Marty Freeman (Dennis) Stepp of Somerville, MA; four grandchildren, Josie, Allison, Thomas and Nolen Freeman.  

Mr. Freeman was preceded in death by his parents, John Bryant and Felice Branigan Freeman; his brother, Linville Freeman.
