Mr. Paul N. Covington, age 94, died Sunday, 10/24/2010, at Martin Health Care in Martin, TN.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, October 27, 2010, at the First Baptist Church in Martin; 1:00 P.M. Burial to follow in East Side Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday at the church.
Mr. Covington is survived by his wife, Dottie Taylor Covington of Martin; daughters, Paula (Bill) Hawkins of Camden, TN and Cindy (Larry) Leeper of Centerville, TN; sister, Sarah Hayslett of Fairfax, Virginia. He was preceded in death by parents, Thomas Wadkins Covington and Addie Martin Covington; Brother, Thomas W. Covington, Jr.; sister, Nell Elaine Covington. Mr. Covington was survived by four grandchildren, Anita Hawkins Sloan, William Paul Hawkins, Jr., Brad William Leeper and Lee Ann Leeper Callicott; five great-grandchildren, Ava Sloan, Anna Sloan, Benjamin Paul Hawkins, Sarah Beth Callicott and Ella Cathryn Callicott.
Mr. Covington was retired for I.C. Railroad (37 years). He was a member of First Baptist Church in Martin and U.S. Army W.W.II veteran.
