Rachel Fletcher

Ms. Rachel May Buford Fletcher, age 67, died Tuesday, December 4, 2018, at West Tennessee Volunteer Hospital in Martin.

Funeral service will be Saturday, December 8, 2018, 1:00 P.M. at Miles Chapel C.M.E. Church with Rev. Paul Jenkins officiating.  Burial will follow in Parham Cemetery.  Visitation will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church until funeral time at 1:00.

Ms. Fletcher is survived by her daughter, Rachell Marie (Oki Woolridge) Fletcher; her sons, John Alexander Buford and Vernon Craig (Kelly) Fletcher all of Martin; sisters, Edna Buford of Martin, Swanya Sanchez of Fort Campbell, KY, Vanessa Buford of South Fulton, Phyllis Duncan and Helen Duncan both of Memphis; four grandchildren, Ebony Buford, Asijah Woolridge, Miami Woolridge and Shelby Fletcher. 

Ms. Fletcher formerly worked for the T Room and Martin Health Care.  She was a graduate of Weakley County Training School and a member of Miles Chapel C.M.E. church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Postell Buford and Mayme Smith Buford; one brother, Postell Buford, Jr.; special friend, Robert L. Thompson.
