Rachel Pearl Thompson

Mrs. Rachel Pearl Thompson, age 89, of  Union City, TN, formerly of Martin, TN, died Monday, 10/03/2022, at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Graveside services will be at 1:00 PM Friday, 10/07/2022, at East Side Cemetery, with Bro. Eddie Hutchins officiating, with burial to follow.  Friends may assemble at the gravesite at 12:45 PM.  Pallbearers will be Danny Powers, Jason Thompson, Josh Haines, Bob Pierpoint, Barry Harris, Jacob Sutherland.

Mrs. Thompson was retired from Martin Manufacturing Co., and the U T M Cafeteria.  She was a member of the Martin Church of Christ.

Mrs. Thompson was preceded in death by her husband, Glen R. Thompson, a daughter, Crystal Thompson, her siblings, Chester Gregory, Elizabeth Watts, and Frances Pierpoint, and her parents, Clifton H. and Ruth Hibbs Gregory.

Mrs Thompson is survived by a daughter, Cindy Haines, Union City, TN; three grandchildren, Jason Thompson, Candice Sutherland, and Josh Haines; five great grandchildren, Keely Sutherland, Kyndal Sutherland, Karter Sutherland, Jackson Haines, and Jameson Haines.
