Randy Giltner

Mr. Randy Giltner, age 70, of Martin died Wednesday, January 11, 2023, at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Funeral service will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, 3:00 P.M. at First Baptist Church in Martin with Dr. Mike Sams officiating.  Burial will follow in Martin Memorial Gardens.  Visitation will be Sunday at the church beginning at 1:30 P.M. until service time at 3:00.

Pallbearers are Mike Giltner, Terry Giltner, Robin Giltner, Wendell Cates, Brady Moore and Bill Taylor.  

Randy is survived by his wife, Debbie Boswell Giltner; his daughter, Tori (Clint) Damron; two grandchildren, Tristen Damron and Christopher Damron all of Martin; three brothers, Mike (Eileen) Giltner of Chicago, IL, Terry (Linda) Giltner of Manchester, TN and Robin (Kim) Giltner of Nashville.

Randy was a graduate of Humboldt High School where he was inducted into the Humboldt Hall of Fame.  He was a graduate of The University of Tennessee at Martin where he was a member of the UTM Football Team.  He worked in construction management for years before his retirement.  He was a avid sports fan, loved playing cards, being with his family and most of all watching his grandson, Christopher, play sports.  He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Giltner and Kathryn Mayo Giltner.
